About The Position

Develops, maintains, and coordinates work schedules for the Electrical team. Trains Electrical team members on departmental policies and procedures and documents the training. Assists in ensuring departmental policies and procedures are followed. Monitors and documents team members’ guest service and technical performance. Conducts and documents weekly safety training meetings. Assists management in setting expectations and holding team members accountable for their tasks. Responds to and handles work assignments in a timely manner. Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers. Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment. Connects cables and wires between machines and equipment. Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures. Replaces damaged or broken wires and cables. Tests malfunctioning machinery with other maintenance workers, such as maintenance machine repairers and maintenance tool makers to diagnose the cause of the malfunction. Replaces faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices. Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards. Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors. Pushes buttons and presses keys on robot controllers, teach pendants, and programmable controllers to program automated machinery (such as robots) to operate automated machinery, to test for malfunctions, and to verify repairs. Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Maintains knowledge of new products and tools, codes and regulations, and industry trends and techniques. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained. Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Completion of an apprenticeship program by an accredited educational facility.
  • Must have a Journey Electrician’s license.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • 5 or more years of related experience.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good organization skills and detail oriented.
  • Proficient in NFPA 70E electrical standard.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical code requirements, such as NEC and Title 24.
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics and the ability to interpret manufacturers' equipment instruction manuals.
  • Knowledge of building codes, rules, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of materials, tools, and equipment used to perform job duties.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with diverse cultures, work groups, and across the organization.
  • Ability to work in a professional high-pressure environment while demonstrating and maintaining good personal relation/people skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under stress.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to adjust to change.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours during the day or evening including weekends, holidays, and all blackout dates.
  • Must be available for on-call and irregular hours.
