AECOM is seeking a Lead Electrical Project Manager to be based in Texas for upcoming Data Center construction projects. This role is part of a growing talent network for future projects and will involve managing all electrical activities from pre-construction through warranty enforcement. The position serves as the primary electrical point of contact for clients, GCs, EPCs, AECOM staff, and stakeholders, ensuring electrical infrastructure aligns with project objectives. The role involves overseeing the installation of critical mechanical systems, monitoring contractor performance, conducting field inspections, and coordinating electrical milestones with other project teams. The Lead Electrical Project Manager will also provide technical direction, administer client and AECOM policies, and ensure projects are constructed according to design, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Collaboration with commissioning agents, GCs, EPCs, and clients is essential for successful commissioning, energization, start-up, and turnover. The role includes monitoring construction progress, processing field documentation, providing engineering support, coordinating site activities, attending meetings, and coordinating project documentation with Project Controls. Reviewing pay applications and working with the client's OFCI firm for equipment review and documentation are also key responsibilities.
