DLB Associates
•$138,000 - $184,000•Remote

About The Position

The Lead Electrical Engineer will work in DLB Associates’ Mission Critical Department, which focuses primarily on hyperscale data centers and related mission-critical facilities. The role collaborates with design staff and the Project Management Team to oversee full-cycle electrical design, produce construction documents, develop and edit project specifications, and lead construction administration. The engineer works independently on day-to-day tasks, receives high-level direction on new projects or assignments, and leads design teams and complex-scope projects. The position may coordinate and direct other personnel, including interns and engineering or technical staff. It also involves client communication, project reporting, and completing assigned work on time and within budget. The role leads resilient electrical infrastructure design from conceptual design through construction, including medium- and low-voltage distribution, redundant power topologies, generators, UPS systems, transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, PDUs, and related critical-power systems. The position also supports pre-construction and construction activities, including site surveys, document preparation, submittal and RFI reviews, punch lists, and closeout. The position is remote within the United States, with travel of up to 10% to locations across the country.
