This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remote. Additionally, the position provides technical oversight for engineering design change packages, calculations, equipment procurement specifications, bid reviews, and vendor interactions. The role requires interfacing with clients, implementing personnel for scope validation, ensuring client satisfaction, mentoring staff, identifying client needs for strategic opportunities, and leveraging client relationships for follow-on work. The role also emphasizes leading teams in utilizing modern tools like automation and AI to improve workflows and deliver cost-effective designs, with oversight of engineers who program or script for task automation.
