This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days a week in the office and two days remote. The position involves leading detailed design phases for all aspects of electrical engineering work, developing project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants, and preparing proposals. The role also includes providing technical oversight and supervision for engineering design change packages, calculations, equipment procurement specifications, and bid review evaluations. Additionally, the role requires interfacing with clients, mentoring junior engineers, identifying client needs for strategic opportunities, and leveraging client relationships for follow-on work. Leaders in this role are expected to guide teams in using modern tools like automation and AI to improve workflows and deliver cost-effective designs, overseeing automation and process-improvement work, and ensuring results are checked.
