Requirements

  • BS degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience. (In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED or equivalent education with 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.)
  • Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Must have experience with electrical test environment and test equipment in the Hypersonic program.
  • Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
  • Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
  • Must have IPC 610/620 or J standard certification.
  • Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
  • Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality source inspections.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Government contract and SOW interpretation.
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Previous auditing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining processes in the test environment.
  • Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines.
  • Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization
  • Inspect components and assembled parts IAW drawings.
  • Review and approve assembly instructions.
  • Approve Procurement requisitions.
  • Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
  • Write Non-conformance’s and start investigation to root cause.
  • Perform environmental testing and analysis of electrical boards and components for non-conformances.
  • Complete FAI review from Supplier.
  • Report Supplier “notice of changes” to Management.
