About The Position
This role involves overseeing daily neurodiagnostic workflows and testing schedules to optimize department productivity and efficiency. The Lead EEG/EMU Technologist will mentor technical staff through proactive quality management, formal performance evaluations, and clinical guidance. They will also serve as the subject matter expert for complex cases, providing specialized consultation and performing elite technologist duties. Additionally, this role promotes situational problem-solving, active teamwork, and high standards of cooperation across the unit.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Tech specializing in Nerve Conduction Study obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities
