About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is hiring a Lead Dock Worker to join their team. This is a full-time, day shift position with an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to support Goodwill's mission in our community.

Requirements

• Tow motor certification required
• This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing during employment
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including: Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting Bilateral reaching at all levels; handling, fingering, fine fingering, and simple grasping Occasional sitting and kneeling Frequent lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.; occasional lifting/carrying 51-100 lbs. Frequent pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. at varying distances
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
• Steel-toe footwear required
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support dock area operations
• Ensure proper placement and categorization of donated goods in the warehouse
• Fill donation orders for Goodwill retail stores
• Load deliveries onto trucks at the loading dock
• Operate tow motor safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
