Requirements

Possess the skill to accurately count and maintain records on large amounts of cash.
A general working knowledge of company software and related hardware used at assigned facilities to conduct the commissary operation.
Read and comprehend documentation written at a nationally accepted high school level.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have the ability to work in a secure corrections environment
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Responsible for the efficient operation of commissary services at Mobile County Corrections Center.
Responsible for placing orders manually or electronically for inmates. Receiving, separating, and preparing individual inmate commissary orders for distribution to inmates in the respective assigned housing location.
Distributing individual commissary orders to inmates at times and locations as directed by the facility administrator.
Properly handling shortages or damages for orders within company policy.
Caring for and maintaining any on-site products and keeping the work areas clean.
Maintaining equipment necessary to carry out the commissary functions at assigned facilities.
Work closely with the Site Manager and the Regional Manager to provide best in class service to the assigned facility including reporting service or relationship issues immediately.
Ensure markets are stocked properly while tracking damaged inventory and inventory levels.
Ensure all refunds are issued in a timely manner.
Maintain filing of all receipts.
Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
Ensure that all facility security regulations and procedures are adhered to by all company staff on site.
Maintain a working knowledge of company software and equipment installed at assigned facilities.
Carry out duties as assigned by company management.
