Position Summary The Lead Director of Pharmacy Marketing will shape and advance the marketing strategy that strengthens consumer connection with CVS Pharmacy’s retail healthcare services. In this role, you will drive initiatives that build brand relevance, support customer acquisition, and elevate omnichannel engagement. You will collaborate across the enterprise to deliver integrated marketing programs that improve awareness and preference for CVS Pharmacy while supporting long‑term business growth. Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience with strong understanding of business, healthcare, or consumer industries.
  • 5+ years of cross‑functional leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of retail marketing or retail agency/strategy experience.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, including testing and validating emerging digital opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skill set with familiarity in AI and marketing technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with deep expertise in business, healthcare, and consumer behavior.
  • Proven track record in leading marketing strategies in healthcare, retail or other highly regulated businesses.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing at senior levels.
  • Passion for innovation, storytelling, and delivering impact at scale.
  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of end-to-end marketing strategies that drive patient acquisition, retention, and brand preference.
  • Define and evolve CVS Pharmacy’s brand positioning to strengthen consumer trust and relevance.
  • Partner with business leaders to shape multi-year growth strategies and innovation roadmaps.
  • Design full-funnel customer journeys across paid, owned, and earned channels with strong integration of content, social, and digital engagement.
  • Develop and manage go‑to‑market test plans, learning agendas, and performance optimizations.
  • Collaborate with Media, Creative, Digital, Store Operations, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution and field readiness.
  • Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to cross‑functional partners, aligning stakeholders around shared outcomes.
  • Establish key performance indicators in partnership with Insights & Analytics and champion a data‑informed decision‑making approach.
