About The Position

Own the interlock between sales and marketing orgs. Translate sales priorities into campaigns, account-based marketing programs, events, and collateral; set marketing qualified lead (MQL) quality standards; and deliver clear, executive-ready readouts on impact and funnel health. Team & Structure: Within Sales Strategy & Excellence (executes on sales strategic initiatives & coordinates cross-functional efforts).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA) is preferred
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, sales operations, or business development, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in defining and overseeing marketing strategies, campaigns, and sales plays aligned with strategic priorities
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales alignment, including developing Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) requirements and improving screening processes
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a liaison between Sales and Marketing, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment on strategic priorities
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, messaging, sales collateral, and customer events
  • Analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and report on MQL impact (% actioned, % conversion) and implement screening improvements
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills with the ability to align marketing initiatives with overarching business goals and sales priorities
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team
  • Strong decision-making skills with experience in resource allocation and project prioritization to maximize strategic outcomes
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with other departments, including Sales, Demand Generation, and Customer Success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across various functions and levels within the organization
  • Effective collaboration skills with experience coordinating monthly interlocks and ensuring alignment between Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools
  • Familiarity with analytics and data visualization tools to track and report on marketing metrics and KPIs
  • Experience in developing and executing global and local sales plays based on strategic priorities and needs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define MQL requirements, gather feedback, and develop effective marketing and sales strategies
  • Proven track record in channeling marketing insights into actionable plans that inform and enhance sales priorities and campaigns

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales and Marketing; run a recurring communication cadence with clear decisions, owners, and timelines
  • Translate sales priorities into marketing plans (e.g. campaigns, account-based marketing programs, content, and events) with clear briefs
  • Align account-based marketing with account teams’ priorities
  • Orchestrate mutual agreement on customer-facing event strategy and execution; measure ROI impact
  • Establish regular cadence for updates on marketing priorities for Sales leadership; produce leadership level material
  • Operate a structured intake and prioritization process for marketing requests from the sales leadership
  • Coordinate field-ready campaign collateral across Marketing and Go-to-Market Enablement teams; ensure localization where needed

  • Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package.
  • For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $168,300 and $272,250.
  • Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
  • In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
