About The Position

The Lead Director - Cloud and Platform Engineering shapes and executes the multi-cloud platform engineering strategy for Health100 and PCW across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. Building on hands-on engineering experience, the role sets technical direction and a multi-year roadmap while developing the organization, engineering practices, and operating model needed to deliver at enterprise scale. The position leads cloud architecture, platform engineering, automation, and production readiness, ensuring that strategy results in scalable, resilient, secure, observable, and cost-effective engineered capabilities. The leader balances technical and business trade-offs, sets engineering priorities, drives modernization, and remains accountable for execution and measurable outcomes. The role works closely with Platform Engineering, DevOps/Operations, Production SRE, Network, Cybersecurity, Identity, Data, Enterprise Architecture, Application Engineering, cloud providers, and strategic partners. It develops technical talent, establishes clear ownership and engineering standards, and influences senior technology leaders on cloud strategy, architecture, investment, and modernization priorities.
