About The Position

Community Access Services is hiring a Program Lead in Portland, OR. This role is for an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) looking to advance their career. The Program Lead will provide hands-on, person-centered support while taking on additional responsibilities to ensure the day-to-day success of the home. This position is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented individual passionate about high-quality care.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with IDD
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Compassionate communicator with patience, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist individuals with mobility needs
• Dependable, respectful, and committed to person-centered support

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful, person-centered relationships that support independence, dignity, and personal choice.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, personal care, and household routines.
• Support individuals in community participation, recreation, appointments, and working toward personal goals.
• Encourage skill development, confidence, and social connections.
• Follow individualized support plans (full training provided).
• Administer medications safely and keep accurate records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for the needs and preferences of those you support.
