The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH). The DSP helps individuals achieve independence, safety, and personal development in accordance with agency values and procedures. This role involves hands-on support with daily living tasks, health and safety, skill development, documentation, transportation, medication administration, and financial assistance. The Lead DSP also has additional responsibilities including monitoring staff performance, ensuring licensing compliance, managing household finances and inventory, and providing training.
