About The Position

CTF Illinois is looking for caring, dependable, and motivated people to join our team. Together we can empower each person we support with developmental disabilities to live the life they want to live. As a lead direct support professional, you will provide support and guidance as an experienced DSP. You will ensure each person’s Personal Plan is implemented and choices on their life are offered and respected.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver’s License w/good driving record
• Certified DSP with at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with developmental disabilities in their home with daily living skills such as medication administration, meal prep, cooking, dressing, hygiene, and keeping their home clean.
• Encourage the people they support to be active in their community by assisting them in attending events, clubs, and shows, and visiting local establishments like their favorite restaurants and shops.
