Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • GED or High School Diploma required.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support while taking on a leadership role within the home, mentoring staff and supporting day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Lead by example, coaching and supporting Direct Support Professional.
  • Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement.
  • Ensure person-centered plans, behavior plans, and documentation are followed accurately.
  • Support day-to-day operations of the home in partnership with leadership.
  • Administer medications and maintain proper documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
  • Transport individuals to appointments and advocate for their needs.
  • Support individuals with budgeting, household routines, and independence goals.
  • Complete required documentation including progress notes, incident reports, and daily logs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and provide clear shift hand-offs.
