Lead Direct Support Professional - PRN
About The Position
Merakey is seeking Lead Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team in Yuba City, CA. This role involves interacting with and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings, including community, homes, and Adult Training Facilities. The DSP will assist with direct care and implement behavior plans, aiming to enhance the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of consumers by training them in personal care, communication, and social skill development. The position offers a pay rate of $26-28 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour upon obtaining Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a verifiable High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services.
- DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certification – Required within 12 months of hire.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification – Required within 60 days of hire.
