About The Position

The Lead Diagnostic Radiographer will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Imaging Services Department at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. They will assist in technical aspects, quality control programs and regulatory compliance of the Imaging Department. This is a 1.0 FTE position, working 80 hours per pay period, with all shifts included, and requires experience in general x-ray, CT, and mammography. The role also includes rotation for call hours.

Requirements

Credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible.
Demonstrate competence in an Imaging setting for 5 years.
Possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Permit to Practice in Radiology.
Flexible for the staffing of all shifts, weekends, holidays, and call duties.
Provide proof of Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider) prior to employment and continue to maintain current certification in BLS.
Complete Mandatory Reporting requirement within 90 days of hire.
Renew Mandatory Reporting requirements every 5 years.
