About The Position

Cisco Workspace for Government (W4G) provides Cisco software products to sensitive U.S. Government customers through an easily consumable platform. The Application Infrastructure and Deployment Team enhances developer experience and productivity, supports application CI/CD, and deploys products to U.S. Government networks. As a cross-product DevOps team, it reduces friction for developers by simplifying workflows through automation and technical solutions. The Lead DevOps Engineer will help lead a modest engineering team and work with Program Leadership to develop the team into a high-functioning organization. The position partners with the Engineering Manager, Software Architect, and Portfolio Owner team to create, deploy, and continuously improve products in development and production environments. The role is hybrid in the Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia metro/Beltway area. Work is performed in U.S. Government classified environments, so the successful applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Some work may also be restricted by the U.S. government to U.S. citizens working on U.S. soil.
