About The Position

The Lead Developer oversees the analysis, programming, and configuration of IT systems software. The role develops complex software components, advises developers on software development and code creation methods, and provides project leadership for software development activities in collaboration with the leadership team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in application development utilizing Java.
• Previous background in the banking or fintech industries.

Nice To Haves

• 7 or more years of experience in application development.
• Prior experience developing and maintaining Core Deposits Applications, such as FIS or similar.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of Product Architecture.
• Strong skills with application integrations, including API, real-time, and batch integrations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor development work to ensure the resulting software meets established goals.
• Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define scope and objectives for IT systems.
• Outline application requirements for the development team and introduce approaches to solve information technology problems.
• Oversee configuration, customization, diagnosis, and enhancements for operating systems software.
• Design, code, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Perform detailed design and code reviews and address findings appropriately.
• Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
