This role involves leading and participating in projects using Azure DevOps tools, writing technical direction through work item instructions, and assigning tasks to balance workload and capacity. The Lead Developer will provide regular assessments of code quality, proof pull requests, and fulfill Java and/or Angular development as capacity allows. Responsibilities include developing normalized table structures, complex stored procedures, and views in SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle Developer. The role also entails troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting on application availability and performance using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Data Dog, responding quickly to outages, and collaborating with other technical teams to resolve failures. Establishing and maintaining automated alerts for performance concerns, communicating resolution for breached service levels, and identifying core failures with recommended solutions are key aspects. The position may involve recommending new technologies and methodologies to management, staying current with new technologies, and ensuring compliance with company standards, security, and quality standards. Maintaining technical specification documentation and Standard Operating Procedures in Confluence, using approved AI models in Github Copilot for coding efficiency, participating in cross-team technical planning, and providing assistance in solving programming problems are also expected. The role includes writing and reviewing system specifications and ensuring accurate production deployments through detailed implementation instructions, justifications, and risk assessments in ServiceNow. Scheduling and communicating releases, requesting status updates, participating in post-deployment validation, and communicating go-live availability to end consumers are also part of the duties.
