About The Position

Designers are responsible for transforming sketches, conceptual designs, mark-ups and other pieces of technical information into complete drawings, details and construction documents for a wide variety of projects involving engineering, architecture, landscape architecture and land surveying elements. Designers use their training, education, and experience to contribute to all stages of project delivery.

Requirements

Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3d, GIS, SolidWorks, Revit, SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
Ability to prepare comprehensive construction documents.
Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
Capability to perform technical reviews, follow quality assurance plans and execute quality control processes.
Ability to problem-solve, communicate and collaborate with peers and project stakeholders.
At least 7 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

An associate degree or certification in industrial design, landscape design, engineering or architectural fundamentals, or computer-aided design (CAD) is preferred.
