About The Position

Nike Atelier Apparel Product Design is seeking a passionate designer, a maker at heart who works fast, stays curious, and brings ideas to life through hands-on exploration. This role involves creating bespoke product for the world's most influential athletes and defining cultural moments. The designer will utilize AI-powered design tools alongside traditional craft to shape concepts into final product, pushing innovation in material, proportion, and construction through a Nike Atelier lens.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in Fashion Design or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in AI tools, ie. Vizcom
• Ability to apply and perform design skills such as drawing/sketching, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing and scale, visual presentation development and layout.
• Familiarity with current trends, color and design.
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, draping, materials, trims, garment fit, garment construction, and manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
• Must submit a creative design portfolio (website links or PDF file).

• Sharp eye for proportion, construction, and detail.
• Pair craft with advanced expertise in AI-powered design, visualization, and rendering tools such as Vizcom, using them fluently to accelerate ideation, push creative exploration, and bring concepts to life.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop apparel looks for key moments.
• Create and refine patterns with accuracy and attention to fit and proportion.
• Prototype garments to evolve creative direction.
• Experiment with materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Tech pack building and implement all apparel product details including construction detail, color, form, style, detail, fit performance, and trims.
• Partner and clearly communicate with all relevant members within Design, Technical Development and external suppliers.
• Build presentation decks
