Requirements

• Experience leading the back office or seasoned dental assistant experience
• Comfortable leading

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of dental assistants
• Communicate and partner with Doctors and Hygienists
• Order supplies and ensure compliance
• Keep the back office running smoothly
• Expose dental diagnostic X-Rays
• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts
