If you're someone who actually cares about making people smile (literally), let's talk! We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to step into a leadership role at our practice. As Lead Dental Assistant, you'll be the go-to person for our dental assistant team, training new hires, optimizing how we work together, and making sure everything runs smoothly on the clinical floor.
Requirements
- Active NJ Dental X-Ray License
- 3-5 years of hands-on dental assisting experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm when things get hectic
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred
- Denticon experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Train and onboard new dental assistants, getting them up to speed on our systems, protocols, and patient care standards
- Be a resource and mentor for dental assistants—answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance
- Work alongside the team chairside when needed while keeping an eye on the bigger picture
- Partner with the office manager and dentists to improve processes and patient experience
- Maintain supply inventory and ensure treatment rooms are properly stocked and organized
