Purpose The Lead, Deal Desk role exists to bring rigor, consistency, and insight to Divergent’s product lifecycle execution across complex, high-value capture opportunities. As Divergent scales its advanced manufacturing platform across aerospace, defense, and automotive industries, this role ensures capture processes support sustainable growth while aligning with customer requirements and program realities. The Role Reporting: Collaborate with the business development teams to facilitate a regular cadence of capture status reporting; build dashboards and support executive briefings Analytics: Collaborate with the platform team to develop cost and pricing analysis tools used by capture and program teams Pricing Structure: Partner with the business development and program management teams to continuously improve and adapt our pricing approaches to accommodate a variety of customer use cases Strategic Pricing: Lead, execute, and present on strategic pricing projects of varying scope and complexity with limited supervision Continuous Improvement: Develop, improve, and maintain capture and proposal processes; collaborate with the platform team to integrate in-house and third-party tools supporting the proposal workflow

Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue or sales operations teams in mid-stage start-ups and / or consulting experience.
  • Knowledge of CPQ systems and workflows.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
  • Familiarity with complex sales cycles involving bespoke product offerings.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
