About The Position

The Lead Data Platform Engineer is the technical owner of the enterprise data platform, responsible for designing, building, operating, and continuously improving a reliable, scalable, secure, and operationally resilient platform that delivers trusted data for business operations, reporting, and analytics. This is a hands-on engineering role that establishes engineering standards, guides technical decisions, and promotes continuous improvement. The engineer owns the platform’s architecture, engineering, reliability, security, and day-to-day operation. The role includes building and maintaining ELT pipelines and data transformation frameworks, developing scalable data models, implementing testing and observability, improving performance and cloud resource utilization, and enabling controlled CI/CD deployments. The engineer ensures sensitive data is handled in accordance with HIPAA and organizational security standards, and partners with application, analytics, and business teams to deliver production-ready data solutions. The role provides technical leadership through architecture and code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices. The position is based in Dallas, Texas, and is on-site five days per week.
