About The Position
The Lead Data Engineer will provide strategic and technical leadership in designing, building, and optimising the data platforms, pipelines, and architectures that enable digital transformation across the HSE Mid West. The role will lead the development of modern data solutions to support clinical, operational, and analytical needs, ensuring high-quality, secure, and interoperable data flows across systems. A key focus will be delivering robust data engineering capabilities that underpin major transformation programmes, including the migration and modernisation of legacy health information systems. The post-holder will champion best practices, mentor team members, and drive innovation in data engineering across the region.
