About The Position

This is a full-time role working within the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization at LexisNexis. As a Lead Data Discovery and Enrichment, you will manage a team of Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts. You’ll interact closely with product managers and development team members to define scope and lead execution of AI projects. You will develop and execute best practices for creating training data and evaluating output of AI models. You will use your expertise in the legal domain, and that of the Experts on your team, to drive insights and recommendations to the business that are critical to creating the best features and products for our customers. Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts are subject matter experts in the legal domain, playing a key role in leading the transformation of legal technology. They partner with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to create cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions with legal data. Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts provide annotation, evaluation, and feedback to their partners which are critical to the development of these solutions. Requirements

Have a Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree
Have advanced professional legal experience
Be competent in advanced legal research and writing
Have professional experience in one or more of the following areas: managing, coaching, and mentoring others
Be a natural problem solver
Have a customer-centric mindset
Be able to lead highly complex projects
Have an intermediate understanding of machine learning and natural language processing technologies
Have significant experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other similar programs
Have in-depth knowledge or understanding of agile and lean methodologies

Nice To Haves

Fluent in English and French considered a strong skillset, but not required
