About The Position

The Lead Data Architect works in all data environments which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. The Lead Data Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The Lead Data Architect responsible for developing blueprints for all data repositories, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems. Translates business needs into long-term data architecture solutions. Defines, designs and builds dimensional database schemas. Evaluates reusability of current data for separate analyses. Conducts data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Operational Data Integration for real-time APIs
  • Big Data Integration & Analytics
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • 8+ years of experience in solution, data, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, Databricks, Snowflake, and modern data platform architectures.
  • Strong experience with API-based, event-driven, and distributed system architectures.
  • Experience designing secure solutions, including identity management, access controls, key vault/secrets management, and data protection strategies.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI architectures and their integration into enterprise platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business leaders.

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure,GCP and/or AWS.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional architecture initiatives and drive technology strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive enterprise data, analytics, and architecture strategy across Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and related cloud services.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available data platform solutions.
  • Establish architecture standards, reference patterns, and best practices for data integration, governance, security, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering, product, business, governance, and security teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership for API, event-driven, and real-time integration architectures.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities, recommending solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide architectural oversight across strategic initiatives and platform investments.
  • Drive architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, compliance, and data governance standards.
