About The Position

Leads enterprise analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence initiatives that enable trusted, governed, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Defines standards, platforms, and capabilities that transform enterprise data into secure, actionable insights that improve operational performance, customer experience, regulatory compliance, and strategic outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data science, data architecture responsibilities and at least 1 year in a Specialist or similar technical role.
  • Experience with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, curated datasets, semantic models, dimensional modeling, and enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Enterprise analytics strategy and roadmap development.
  • Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and cloud analytics platform knowledge.
  • Data modeling, dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, and analytical data product design.
  • Power BI development, governance, administration, and self-service BI enablement.
  • SQL, data analysis, data validation, and data quality management.
  • Python, R, machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI concepts.
  • Data catalog, metadata management, business glossary, and data lineage practices.
  • Role-based security, least privilege access, and data governance controls.
  • KPI development, reporting standards, and executive dashboard design.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous position as Lead, Team Leader or Specialist role.
  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions described and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous Lead, Team Leader or Specialist role.
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure Data Engineer, Azure AI Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or related analytics and cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary liaison between analytics teams and upper management to ensure clear, consistent communication and alignment on analytical priorities and initiatives.
  • Defines enterprise analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence strategies to advance organizational data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Leads the development of analytical architecture, including Data Lake, semantic models, curated datasets, and analytical data products to provide scalable and governed analytics solutions.
  • Establishes analytics, reporting, data modeling, and self-service BI standards to improve consistency, quality, and adoption across the organization.
  • Develops data governance, metadata, data catalog, lineage, and stewardship frameworks to strengthen data ownership, accountability, and trust.
  • Directs development of certified datasets, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and analytical products to support operational, regulatory, executive, and customer experience reporting needs.
  • Evaluate and promote artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, and advanced analytics opportunities to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, integration, and reporting teams to deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable analytics solutions.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and provides technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Data Scientists, BI & Reporting Analysts, and analytics resources to strengthen organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrates and reinforces adherence to company policies and procedures within the team to foster a culture of accountability and compliance.
  • Coordinates and supports the execution of restoration tasks and preparedness exercises to ensure the team’s effective emergency response.
  • Takes initiative to perform supplementary responsibilities within scope of expertise to enhance team performance and adaptability.
