About The Position

The Lead Data/AI Engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable Data & AI and Gen AI solutions. This includes developing Gen AI Agents on MCP Servers and AskDocs/AskData chat systems, utilizing best practices such as automation, version control, and CI/CD. The role involves translating complex Data, AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) use cases into effective data models, pipelines, and LLM service architectures, while ensuring data quality and service reliability. A key aspect of the role is developing and maintaining secure, scalable microservices, APIs, and LLM-based services, adhering strictly to security best practices and ensuring readiness for Red Team testing. The engineer will also evaluate and implement cloud and on-premise technologies to optimize platform scalability, performance, cost, monitoring, and security. Collaboration with clients, senior leadership, and diverse teams through excellent communication is essential to convert data and AI capabilities into actionable business insights. The role includes leading rigorous testing strategies and overseeing deployment processes, addressing configuration, environment, and security issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational security requirements. Proficiency in Python, React, and LLMs is required for building advanced AI applications and services, with a specific focus on architectural and design skills for LLM services and generative AI solutions, emphasizing security and compliance. Experience with Data and AI technologies like Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is necessary. Familiarity with API and microservice development patterns, including HTTP/REST/FASTAPI, with an emphasis on secure coding practices, is also required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation
  • Utilizing Python, React, and Large Language Models (LLM) for building advanced AI applications and services
  • Utilizing architectural and design skills specifically for LLM services and generative AI solutions, with a focus on security and Compliance
  • Using Data and AI technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Observing API and microservice development patterns, including HTTP/REST/FastAPI, with an emphasis on secure coding practices

Responsibilities
