About The Position

The Lead Custodial role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of various facilities. This includes general building cleaning, detailed restroom and locker room sanitization, comprehensive floor care (buffing, stripping, waxing, carpet shampooing), and performing periodic deep cleaning and seasonal maintenance. The role also involves specialized cleaning to meet regulatory standards in specific areas like the Fitness Center, Youth Center, and Child Development Center (CDC), as well as managing and restocking paper products and dispensers.

Requirements

• Experience in facility cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.
• Proficiency in restroom and locker room sanitization and disinfection.
• Skilled in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet shampooing.
• Ability to perform deep cleaning and seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements for specialized cleaning areas.
• Experience in managing and restocking paper products and dispensers.

Responsibilities

• Facility cleaning: Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning of all assigned buildings.
• Restroom and locker room cleaning: Daily and periodic sanitization, including disinfecting, sanitizing fixtures, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Floor care: Buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet shampooing to maintain appearance and durability.
• Periodic cleaning tasks: Deep cleaning, seasonal maintenance, and special projects as required.
• Specialized cleaning: Compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for the Fitness Center, Youth Center, and Child Development Center (CDC).
• Paper product management: Supplying and maintaining items like paper towel holders and soap dispensers in key areas.
