The Lead Cultivation Agent is responsible for optimizing plant health and fostering a collaborative team environment by leading a team of Cultivation Garden Agents in various key cultivation activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing a large-scale agriculture facility preferred.
  • Two years’ experience within a production facility, regulated field highly preferred. Or, any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the above-described duties.
  • Effective time-management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Advanced knowledge of plant cultivation and cultivation facility operations.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, point-of-sale systems, windows-based software, and database management.
  • Knowledge of medical cannabis policy and law.
  • Critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship at any time.

Responsibilities

  • Leading cultivation agents in prunes, cleaning, and general garden tasks.
  • Serving as a role model and resource within cultivation concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
  • Responding to all gardener questions, concerns, or suggestions and taking action when necessary to resolve conflicts with proper communication to supervisor.
  • Delegating tasks to gardeners and harvest technicians to maintain a compliant and clean cultivation facility.
  • Coordinating with the Garden Supervisor to ensure accurate information is communicated to the cultivation staff.
  • Leading all cultivation tasks and processes, ensuring proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with the State and standards set by Cresco Labs.
  • Measuring and mixing nutrient and plant applications and applying these mixtures according to Cresco Labs policy.
  • Ensuring plant health by pruning, topping, trimming, analyzing plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required.
  • Applying strain-specific pruning techniques in an ever-changing environment according to Cresco Labs Cultivation SOPs.
  • Inputting waste through METRC to maintain garden compliance.
