About The Position

Join the Seattle Radiology team! Perform a variety of CT exams and procedures while overseeing daily operations, patient workflow, imaging quality, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance. Provide clinical guidance and training to staff, troubleshoot equipment, optimize protocols, support quality assurance, and collaborate with internal and external healthcare professionals. This position offers an employment bonus of up to $20,000, based on experience and skillset. Requirements

  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist License - required (Washington State X-Ray License, ARRT.)
  • Current Advanced Registry in CT - required
  • Current certification in a healthcare provider BLS/CPR - required
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing both themselves and the company positively while building respectful relationships with patients, colleagues, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, ACR requirements, and departmental policies, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, documentation, and operational efficiency, along with additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Properly performs a variety of technical exams and procedures to ACR and company standards using required skill and independent judgement.
  • Utilizes a multi-slice CT scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents at the direction of the Radiologist.
  • Assists radiologist with specialized procedures.
  • Appropriately protocols and screens all orders in advance of appointments for precautions or contraindications.
  • Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health and safety standards.
  • Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/scope and requires assistance.
  • Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging.
