About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Portfolio Consultant within the Business Banking and SBA Construction Portfolio Services Division. The division evaluates construction risk and project feasibility, reviews project plans, budgets, permits, and other due diligence, coordinates loan closings with attention to credit and collateral quality, and provides construction loan expertise to business partners. The role makes recommendations in complex situations, resolves credit issues, provides technical guidance, and collaborates with business partners. It also leads or participates in moderately complex consulting services, planning, projects, and team deliverables; evaluates emerging credit risks for conformity with risk appetite and policy; and mentors less experienced staff.
