As a Cook II at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, you will be responsible for preparing menu items for dining room service, working efficiently with standardized recipes and presentations. You will take direction from the Chef, provide excellent service to guests and team members, and ensure all guest special needs, including dietary restrictions, are met. This role also involves estimating food consumption, requisitioning supplies, ensuring timely and safe food production, and participating in the provisioning of the island, which includes loading/unloading supply vessels, conducting inventories, and safely storing items.
