About The Position
Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Permanent Part Time Lead Cook for the Berrien County Jail in St. Joseph, Michigan. This leadership position in Food Service requires integrity, a positive can-do attitude, strong character, and the ability to work in a structured environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Clearance approval into the facility

- Previous food service or kitchen experience
Responsibilities
- Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
- Read and follow company recipes.
- Work in a structured correctional environment.
