About The Position

Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Lead Cook for Washtenaw County Jail in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a Permanent, Temporary, Full-Time position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 5:00 am and 8:30 pm)
• Clearance approval into the facility

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service or kitchen experience

Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Ability to read and follow company recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
