About The Position

Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Permanent Part-Time Lead Cook for Leelanau County Jail in Suttons Bay MI. This position requires integrity, a positive can-do attitude, strong character, and the ability to work in a structured environment. The role involves leading, instructing, and assisting with meal preparations, including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
• Ability to read and follow company recipes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:00 am - 6:00 pm)
• Clearance approval into the facility
