What you’ll do: The Brass Tacks Oversee daily line operations to ensure smooth, efficient service during all shifts Prepare and execute elevated burger offerings and menu items with consistency and attention to presentation Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of products Train and mentor line cooks, ensuring adherence to recipes, techniques, and quality expectations Monitor ticket times and coordinate with front-of-house to deliver a seamless guest experience Assist with scheduling and shift leadership as needed Ensure proper prep levels are maintained to support service without interruption Uphold brand standards while contributing ideas for specials or menu enhancements Manage waste and control food costs through proper portioning and product utilization Maintain and enforce kitchen organization, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) practices Step into any station as needed, demonstrating versatility and leadership on the line Other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
