About The Position

The Front of House Supervisor supports daily service operations by ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and well-coordinated guest experience. This role assists in leading the service team, upholding hospitality standards, and maintaining an organized and efficient front-of-house environment. Contributes to a positive team culture while ensuring consistency in service execution and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume restaurant environment, with prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of hospitality service standards in an elevated yet approachable dining setting
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and applicable state regulations
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse service team
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and welcoming service
  • Lead and support hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff with strong floor presence
  • Uphold service standards that reflect an elevated yet approachable dining and guest experience
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing feedback or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws, including ID verification and service standards
  • Train and coach team members on food, beverage, and alcohol knowledge, including upselling techniques
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen to ensure accurate, timely food and beverage delivery
  • Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and labor management
  • Support inventory management, including beer, wine, and spirits, and assist with ordering as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of dining room and service areas
  • Assist with hiring efforts, including interviewing, onboarding, and supporting team member selection
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture that prioritizes hospitality and accountability
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership
