About The Position

Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for Saginaw County Jail in Saginaw MI. This position requires integrity, a positive can-do attitude, strong character, and the ability to work in a structured environment. The role involves leading, instructing, and assisting with meal preparations, including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (M-F 8:30am-6:30pm & Sat-Sun 8am-1 pm)
• Clearance approval into the facility
• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
• Ability to read and follow company recipes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Previous food service or kitchen experience
