Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving/decision-making skills combined with the ability to be organized.
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic, and take initiative.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs) as necessary, which includes lifting.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Kitchen experience needed.
  • All educational backgrounds are eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client, embodying 452 Hospitality.
  • Collaborate with Kitchen Managers and Chefs to complete daily restaurant preparation (Back of House and line).
  • Meet daily standards for quick service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising, and guest service.
  • Ensure adequate food quantities are prepared for daily and ongoing service.
  • Participate in safety logs, including food temperatures, rotation, and waste management.
  • Maintain safe food handling practices.
  • Adhere to proper uniform, hygiene, hand-washing, and glove usage standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules.
  • Follow daily prep and item lists as assigned.
  • Support operations in the assigned role and assist with gaps as necessary.
  • Respond actively and efficiently to guest and client feedback, reporting to supervisors to mitigate potential complaints.
  • Communicate with the Restaurant Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager regarding any issues with daily service or quality.
  • Stay knowledgeable about all menu items, prices, and specials to share with guests.
  • Assist with dishwashing as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures.
