About The Position

Join L3Harris at the forefront of mission-critical innovation as the Lead, Contracts Manager for the Microelectronics Division within the Intel & Cyber Sector. In this role, you will shape and lead the contracts function for a dynamic portfolio delivering advanced technologies in emerging technical areas of quantum, photonics and microelectronics. This is a unique opportunity to partner across business, program, and functional teams to drive strategy, execution, and growth in one of the company’s most impactful mission areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

  • Advanced understanding of contract provisions as well as terminology and risks.
  • Demonstrate characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge of licensing, ITAR/EAR, and Intellectual Property.
  • Understanding of cost and price estimating concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and finalize contracts, including pricing, terms, and conditions to maximize value and mitigate risks.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Presents information to broad audience, inclusive of management.
  • Multi-tasks and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments.
  • Significant experience with commercial opportunities, including negotiation of non-U.S. government and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary for working in a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Strong communication with parties within and outside of the organization.
  • Work in partnership with legal counsel to provide recommendations from a Contracts perspective on intellectual property interests.
  • Draft, negotiate, review, and approve a wide variety of agreements including Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Licensing Agreements, and other business and legal documents.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
