About The Position

Allstate is seeking a Vended Application Lead Consultant Engineer to join its Network Security engineering team. The role provides technical leadership for engineering, automation, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise network security platforms. It combines a strong foundation in networking and network security with modern software engineering and infrastructure automation practices, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, APIs, and automation frameworks. The position is hands-on and bridges traditional infrastructure engineering with automated management of network security services. The successful candidate will engineer and improve enterprise firewall and network security infrastructure, develop repeatable automation and deployment practices, and lead technical implementation efforts. They will collaborate across networking, cloud, application, security, and infrastructure teams; troubleshoot complex issues; and guide platform reliability, modernization, and lifecycle activities. Palo Alto Networks experience is preferred, while comparable enterprise firewall experience is also relevant. The stated annual compensation range is $98,100 to $167,850, based on experience and qualifications. Candidates offered the position must submit to a background investigation. Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position. For employees eligible to work from home, Allstate provides a comprehensive technology setup and a monthly connectivity reimbursement. A home worker must have a dedicated private workspace, appropriate desk and seating, and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
