Lead Consultant, Environmental Data Management

This hybrid-based Lead Consultant position is within the Environment & Health team, focusing on closing the gap to a sustainable future. The role involves utilizing critical thinking and group participation in the development of databases, report documents, data dashboards, and data analysis. The successful candidate will work independently, thrive in a team environment, and serve as a technical data resource for project managers and staff. Common tasks include lab analytical data loads, database maintenance, data queries, and data presentation, with opportunities to present findings directly to clients and project teams. The role also includes strategically refining existing data applications and suggesting beneficial uses.
Requirements
- Experience in desktop and web-based ESRI GIS products
- ESRI Survey123, Collector, Field Maps or other field-based data collection modules
- Experience and/or advanced degrees in an Environmental Engineering or Consulting field
- Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations and Screening Levels for analytical chemistry
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of geostatistics, analytical chemistry and/or computer science
Responsibilities
- Relational database development in the EQuIS environment
- Managing data-streams from multiple sources to create a comprehensive project database to be used by various applications
- Querying, updating, and maintaining databases for project sites
- Creation of data deliverables for client presentation and regulating agencies
- Working with and supporting multiple project teams across service lines to bring best digital practices to workflows
