The Lead Console Operator provides 24 hour/7 day routine and emergency communications for TidalHealth and its's satellite offices. Communication methods include the use of a computer-based telephone system console, public address and digital paging system, and a radio based network. The Lead Console Operator will train new hires and update policies and procedures. This is a highly visible position providing quality customer service to our staff and the public. It requires an excellent working knowledge of the TidalHealth's departments and their function, and hours of operation. Considering the high level of confidentiality regarding patient information, the Operator must be responsible and use excellent judgment in this position.
