About The Position

As a Security Console Operator Evenings in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a healthcare location, coordinating security-related communications and response across the site. You will monitor alarms and cameras, manage access control and badge activity, dispatch officers to incidents, document events, and support routine patrol operations through clear radio and phone communication. You will bring a people-first approach while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate a dispatch post by monitoring alarms, access control alerts, CCTV feeds, and other security-related systems, and route calls for service to on-site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications and documenting actions taken.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, escalating issues through the chain of command per site policy.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns.
