As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help coordinate security-related response by monitoring cameras and alarms, tracking calls for service, and communicating clear updates to on-site teams. You will document activity, support routine patrol coverage through accurate dispatching, and deliver a professional, customer-focused experience. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the dispatch post by monitoring phones, radios, and/or alarm and camera systems, receiving calls for service, and routing requests to on-site personnel and appropriate partners.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting incident command as directed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, access control and visitor-related records, and incident reports in accordance with healthcare and pharmaceutical location requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
